A Fresh Look for Fosh

> A fresh new look along with a host of other fantastic changes will be unveiled at Fosh Food this December.  The food boutique, already bursting with an eclectic assortment of gourmet and specialty items, will be expanded to include their own personally branded product range.  ‘Recipe Stations’ with instructions for preparing a fabulous Fosh style meal, along with all of the essential ingredients right at your fingertips, will offer inspiration for creating amazing meals within your own home.  Alternatively, dining in, with their expanded seating area, a la carte menu addition, and inclusion of Friday & Saturday evenings, offers flexibility and selection for everyone.

TaPalma
10-14 October

> This 3rd International Tapas Fair will be held in various venues throughout Palma, rather than being restricted to one venue, the Pueblo Español as in previous years. Four gastronomic routes have been created through the city centre that will take you right to the doors of the 40 participating restaurants.  Throughout the 5 day event, each restaurant will present at least 2 tapa variations, for a maximum cost of 2€.  As with other years, a competition for the best tapa will take place with the help of a gastronomic judge and the votes of the public.

Honey Fair
25-November

> Annual fair in Llubi that includes exhibitions of honey, waxes and other products from the bumble bee.

Olive Fair
17-18 November

> A fair in Caimari  dedicated promoting traditional production of oil and olives.

Mushroom Fair
24-25 November

> The small village of Mancor de la  Vall holds an annual fair, with tasting of their prized Mallorcan mushrooms called ‘Esclata-sang’.

Magic Beans!

> The latest addition to Santa Catalina’s café scene, Beans Espresso Bar, offers that extra something, setting it apart from the rest.  You can ease into your day with a healthy fruit smoothie as you read the morning paper, or kick-start your day with a caramel macchiato ‘to go’ for your brisk walk into work.  They offer fresh & healthy vegetarian options of bagels and wraps, as well as scrumptious cakes and muffins for those with a sweet tooth.  Open daily, including Sundays, providing a warm and welcoming space to read, have a chat, check your emails, or simply relax. Refreshingly, the owners have made conscious efforts to incorporate a number of eco-friendly alternatives to various products used within the café.
